Do come along, most of the images were captured in the Murrindindi area. The exhibition will be at Gallery 34 for April, then in the cafe next door for most of May

NOTICE Change to Epson Printer Training

Unfortunately we have had to postpone the Epson workshop again Thursday 2nd April was the day before Good Friday, both Derek Mobbs – Epson and myself hadn't realised Easter was so close.

So in trying to work it into the Month of April we have rescheduled the workshop for
Thursday April 16th.

I apologise for  the number of reschedules , BUT this will definitely be the last.

One of the reasons for changing was that Derek wasn't keen to fly down from Sydney  over the Easter period and some of our members who wanted to attend but were heading off before the 3rd April for a long Easter break.

Epson have donated the Epson R3000 printer to the club, to raffle off at the end of the night.

We don’t have a raffle permit, so the legal way around this will be for those attending to make a $5 donation to the club, and in turn we give you a ticket to go into a prize draw for the R3000 printer ... if you don’t want to make a donation, that’s not a problem.

I believe that Derek will also be bringing down some sample packs of Epson print paper.

Again sorry for the number of changes , but it was out of my control to a degree.
Regards

March Meeting Notice

Welcome to Autumn and the opportunity to take wow autumn colours.

The next meeting of the camera club will be Wednesday 11th March at 7.00pm in the Yea RSL.

Please remember to bring your “Capture an Idea “ PRINTS for Feb.-GREEN and March – SKY.

Also those who attended the Feb. meeting have the opportunity to email to Alan C  before 7.00pm this Saturday 7th, two photos they took of Yea on their walk around that night

Please ensure that you reduce the size of each photo before sending. 1MB each would be ideal but not critical. If you cannot do this, bring your photos on a USB stick early on the night of the meeting.

This month’s presentation is how to construct a light box with the two Alans-_ Alan S and Alan C..Bring your cameras for the chance to try one out.

Also this month is decision time regarding whether we will hold our annual competition and exhibition.Your committee has already decided that we should, but we need to know the level of support within the membership before we commit ourselves. If you cannot attend this meeting it would be most helpful if you can email to me your thoughts and hopefully your commitment.
Hi all YCC members,

We have been approached by the Shire to photograph the forthcoming Ghin Ghin Bridge demolition and rebuild.

The bridge is due to be demolished over a 2 week period - starting shortly- maybe even in the next 2 weeks!

Ideally they would like some static shots - as well as a series of "time lapse" photos taken from the same position over a period of the 2 weeks to show the rebuild process.

Once the photos have been taken then the marketing and dissemination can be collaboratively discussed with the Shire.

At this stage I just need to let them know if anyone is interested.

If you have the time and are interested in dedicating yourself to this project could you please reply to this email before Friday so that we can let the Shire know and we can tee up a meeting.

It could also be a good "photobook".

Thanks,
Kerry. (President)
