VAPS Annual Convention 2014 Great opportunity to get out and about in Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsular
The VAPS Annual Convention and Interclub will be held in Geelong in 2014. A fabulous collection of keynote speakers and a wide range of workshops for camera clubs will be available for members to enjoy. Enrolment forms and programme will be distributed to camera clubs very soon. A Friday evening photo walk is also being planned. The main details are: Convention: Saturday the 24th of May and Sunday the 25th of May 2014 Venue: Mercure Hotel, Cnr Gheringhap St and Myers St, Geelong Interclub challenge: 15 prints and 15 digital images. February Meeting

Hello all and welcome to the New Year 2014.

Our first meeting for 2014 is Wednesday 12th.Feb in the RSL at 7.00pm

Topic for the night - Presentation by Adrian Smith on Lens and Equipment. 

Bring your camera equipment for a practical exercise.

Please be on time for a discussion on:

1. Changes to the rules for capture an idea.
2. Do we want to run a Photographic Competition this year and who is prepared to help?
3. Do we want to run a raffle this year and when?
4. Can we usefully  engage with the High School?
5. Who might attend Yarra Ranges night 19th. Feb? Car pooling?
6. Venue for landscape presentation - suggestions? Murchison Gap?
7. Interest in day/weekend  in April for Autumn colour. Destination?
