Yep, the Christmas clock is ticking... only 72 days to go!
Now's the time to work out what you will be framing for whom this year and get organised. Don't leave it all till the last minute - you'll run out of time!
  • Lay out all the framing jobs you have to do
  • Choose a mat colour for each and make a list of how much you need of each colour
  • Choose a moulding for each and measure up
  • Check you have enough fome core, wire, v-nails, backing nails and backing tape to finish each job
  • Place your order in one go to avoid extra freight charges!

Annual Photographic Competition This weekend

Cup weekend is almost here.

The Annual Photographic Exhibition received over 400 entries again and has kept members busy getting the show ready.

Opening night is Friday 31st October at 7:30, Beaufort Manor High Street Yea. All welcome, $10 entry with 1 free drink or $20 a family ticket. Pay at the door if you don't already have one.


YCC Members
Raffle tickets – ALL tickets sold/unsold must please be returned to a committee member before Cup Day. Draw is at 3 pm Tuesday 3rd November at Beaufort Manor.
 
Next meeting  of the camera club will be Wednesday 11th. November. “ Capture an Idea” is REFLECT  and outstanding homework is “ Trees” and a good 1 or 2 portraits from our teach-in with Paul last meeting.

Let Ann no E know if you are going to be at the Christmas meeting at Royal Mail, 6:30pm Meeting Wednesday December.

Corio Bay Camera Club - Upcoming Exhibition

Members Photography Exhibition“Geelong and Surrounds"

10 - 11th and 17 - 18th October
10.00 am till 4.00 pm

Come and experience images on the theme of "Geelong and Surrounds" as interpreted by members of the Corio Bay Camera Club. Every member has their own individual style and preference of subject matter and this variety promises to provide you with an interesting exploration of our home town. 

Looking through the Lens - Historical Photographic Exhibition



The Dunkeld RSL Sub-Branch, supported by the Dunkeld Museum, will host a photographic exhibition that spans approx 150 years of Dunkeld and district history, with photos from as early as the 1860's.  

The exhibition, which will be held in the Memorial Hall (in the Dunkeld Community Centre), will be officially launched on Friday 23 October (including a dedication ceremony for the RSL Room to WWII veteran, Mr Henry Leech OAM) commencing at 7.00pm. Light refreshments and drinks will be served. Tickets: $20.00 Adults and $5.00 Children.
The exhibition will be open daily from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November, from 10.00am to 4.00pm.  Daily entrance fees: $10.00 Adults and $3.00 Students.
There will be opportunity for the public to order copies of the photographs for their own collection.
This historical photographic exhibition will be held during RHSV's History Week and the Victorian Seniors Festival and seniors and the general public are warmly invited to attend this event.  Concession rates are available for Seniors' bus tours.
